Project Olympus is a large-scale hyperscale data centre campus located in the London Docklands, designed to deliver approximately 210MW of IT capacity across three major data centre buildings and supporting infrastructure. The development forms one of London’s largest data centre campuses, spanning approximately 1.5 million sqft and designed to be “AI-ready” from day one. The scheme includes multi-storey data halls, extensive plant infrastructure, and a new substation, alongside public realm and community-focused improvements that contribute to the wider regeneration of the Docklands area. The project also incorporates sustainability-driven strategies targeting operational carbon reduction, enhanced energy performance, and improved urban integration. Working on the project involved coordination across multidisciplinary teams through planning, tender, and construction stages, supporting the delivery of a technically complex and highly constrained development adjacent to the River Thames within Flood Zone 3 conditions. Key challenges included integrating large-scale MEP infrastructure, resolving complex ground conditions, and coordinating construction within a dense urban environment using BIM-led workflows.
